MADE BY THE BEST TO HANDLE THE WORST

Every one of the 500 Series Snow throwers can tackle winter's biggest storms. Electric start Cub Cadet OHV 4-cycle engines, power steering and heavy-duty steel augers mean these snow throwers start quickly and move effortlessly through the harshest conditions. The high-impact polymer chute and steel shave plate make it amazingly easy to operate through heavy snow and ice, so you're out of the cold faster.

HEATED HAND GRIPS

Keep your hands warm to fnish the job in comfort! To activate the heated grips, just move the switch found on the rear of the dash panel into the ON position.

WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU

Easily maneuvers driveways of all shapes and sizes, so you can get the job done in less time and with less effort.

You will spend less time in the cold as you control where you want the snow to be thrown.

The handles stay warm and you can keep working through the coldest weather.

TWO-STAGE CLEARING SYSTEM

Our two-stage system is designed to make clearing even the worst snowfalls simple: in the first stage, a serrated auger slices through ice and hard-packed snow, slowly pulling it into the back of the housing. For the second stage, a high-speed impeller blows the snow out through the discharge chute, in the direction you control from the operation zone. The result is a clear path with minimal effort.

ohv winter engine

OHV WINTER ENGINE

The cub cadet 4-cycle ohv winter engines offer improved starting and a low emission and are especially developped for low temperatures.

Cub Cadet 500 Series electric start

ELECTRIC START

Convenient start by just connecting the snow thrower with a socket-outlet and pressing the starter button. One push and you are ready to go.

Cub Cadet 500 Drift Cutters

DRIFT CUTTERS

The drift cutters which are mounted on both sides of the auger housing, break deep snow banks away and thus allow the snow thrower to power through even the heaviest drifts.

WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU

Even at low temperatures, the engine starts smoothly.

You can effortlessly start the snow thrower.

Better performance and easier working in extremely deep snow.

Cub Cadet 500 Skid Shoes

SKID SHOES

The skid shoes glide along surfaces for better maneuverability. The space between the shave plate and the ground can be adjusted by raising or lowering the skid shoes. For close snow removal, e.g. on a smooth concrete or asphalt driveway, place them in the low position. Use the middle or high position when the area to be cleared is uneven. When operating on gravel, choose the high position.

Cub Cadet Series 500 xtreme-auger

XTREME AUGER

Instead of one shear pin per auger half, the "Xtreme Auger" has one shear pin in each individual Xtreme Auger assembly. Each auger is equipped with a locking pin as overload protection. This reduces maintenance costs. Snow and ice are "chopped" up by the auger blades before being fed into the impeller, which transfers the snow through the chute.

Shear bolt

SHEAR BOLT

The shear bolt connects the "Xtreme Auger" with the drive shaft. If the "Xtreme Auger" blocks, the shear bolt acts as an overload protection. If the bolt breaks, the "Xtreme Auger" automatically stops, which prevents other turning parts from breaking. After replacing the pin, the snow thrower is ready for use again. This extends the life-cycle of the machine and reduces maintenance and repair costs to a minimum.

WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU

Better maneuverability and at the same time no damage of the driveway.

Advanced technology for better performance.

You will save costs as the maintenance costs will be reduced considerably.
